It is roughly 10 feet by 5 feet in area, by 8 feet deep. It is all concrete. Seems to me I might dig down along the side and create a doorway, clean out the inside and have a wine cellar, or at least a storm shelter. Is this possible?
If you are trapped in a wine cellar you are pretty well set.
We just bought this bottle of wine (I don’t usually drink wine, just wine coolers) but we bought this "sweet Hungarian wine" and my friend is thinking of how in the movies they seem to take their wine right off the rack or wine cellar and drink it room temperature…………..but I’m thinking "shouldn’t wine be drank cold?"……………what do you think…………???

My husband and I have an older house with a fruit and vegetable room in the basement. We would like to transform this into a wine cellar. There is wooden shelving inside. Also, since most corks are not the old kind, do we need to angle the bottles a certain way if they lay down? Thanks for helping!
i’ve looked around the internet and found that most wood can be used in making a wine cellar, but is there a wood that’s better than the others to use?
It is for a wedding a month away, we do not have a wine cellar or storage space. We would have waited but the wine we wanted was on sale this week. would keeping it in a basement be good enough or should we store it somewhere cooler. The weather for the next couple of days is 80’s and humid.

my house has a wine cellar built into it, and i know the combonation and whether to turn left or right, but it just doesn’t open. I know for regular locks you have to spin it twice to the right, and go through sequences like that so i was wondering if anyone would know how to open this?
