I recently went through an old wine cellar of my aunts. The label to the bottle of wine in question is unreadable. I know it is from 1972 because of a sticker that says QUALITA SUPERIORE. The top says Fratelli Bolla Verona. I’m pretty sure it is an italian import. But I would like to know more before I open it. If anyone has any information I would be extremely grateful.
I am looking to buy a nice gift for my uncle who is a huge wine advocate. He has a wine cellar in the basement and a huge collection of wines. I dont feel comfortable picking out a wine myself because he is quite the expert and I would have no idea what to pick. Any other ideas?
I need to know how to set the temperature on my Whirlpool Wine Cellar WWC287BLS!
PLEASE HELP!
Obviously, not very knowledgeable about wine. Was wondering how to store Manischewitz Concord Grape wine before and after opening (if it makes a difference)? I don’t own a wine cellar or anything like that. Just a refrigerator.
What is the best route to take in turning a closet into a wine cellar. I have a hall closet that will probably only hold about a 100 bottles or so when outfitted. Is there a small cooling unit to put in there? What would the best racking system be? Etc….. Thanks, Gantt
We bought a house that came with the muscadine grapes about 20 huge vines, all the wine making bottles and so forth even a wine cellar. My question is the people who lived here before made wine. There are bottles in the cellar that are dated 1988, are these safe to drink?? It looks like the bottom of the wine is cloudy and has pieces of grapes.
I am looking for a wine cellar/cooler for 100-200 bottles. I am based in Northern Virginia so would like to go to a store in that area (or at worse DC) …. any suggestions?
I am going to try making red wine at home… Will this wine cellar alright and is it possible to make a good quality wine?
It is roughly 10 feet by 5 feet in area, by 8 feet deep. It is all concrete. Seems to me I might dig down along the side and create a doorway, clean out the inside and have a wine cellar, or at least a storm shelter. Is this possible?
