I received a terra cotta wine chiller as a gift, which is great because I do enjoy my wine, problem is, I don’t know how to use it! People have told me to soak it in water before putting it in the fridge (or freezer) but others have told me just to put it in the fridge. Have any of you ever used one and if so, which is the best way?
I'm looking for a wine refrigerator, and a friend said he had one he could sell me… but described it as a wine chiller.
I'm just asking for the difference between the two pieces of equipment, if there is one.
I know I need a cooling system. I appreciate the extra tips about wine, etc, but that's not what will help me right now… thanks
My brother is quite a wine enthusiast and I'm thinking about buying him a wine cellar and/or wine chiller for the holidays.
He usually has about 8 bottles of wine and could probably use a special fridge to keep them cool as well as a rapid chiller.
Does anyone have any recommendations?
Specific brand names/models and where to buy them would be especially appreciated.
