My wine club that sends me wine every couple months seems to have accidentally sent me some extra wine at no charge to me. What obligation do I have to return it? Can I keep it, and what, if anything, could really be done if I did?
I’m wondering about this from a legal standpoint. If I don’t return it, by law could they charge me for it? Sue me?
I am just curious what draws your attention to joining a wine club besides the wine!
I have a bottle of wine from 2002 It is a bottle of Vintage from the Hong Kong Wine Club made in China it has chinese words i cant understand on the bottle and the details about the wine in English it is from Hilton Hotels in Hong Kong i think the name is Cabernet Sauvignon it is a 750 ml glass bottle and has 12.5% alcohol on the tag it says NY20050629 could this be the expiration date which would have expired 6-29-2005 I wanted to know if it would be safe to drink this wine today or not please let me know Thanks
I’d like to give a wine club gift but can’t find a winery that ships to Texas since the law changed to allow it.
I’d like to get my dad a wine club membership for Christmas so he will get a new bottle or two of wines he wouldn’t normally try on his own every month. He is not a sommelier by any means so we are not talking about the 00 range here, but he does really enjoy his vino! He likes dry wine, both red and white. Even if it was only for a 6 month membership I still think he’d like it a lot. Please direct me to a good online club or a website that can provide me with some trustworthy reviews. Thanks for your input & Happy Holidays!
If I see a 2005 Ravenswood Cabernet Sauvignon and a 2007 Ravenswood Cabernet Sauvignon which is going to be "better" of the two. Is the wine considered better after a couple years? Or does it depend on the wine for that year if it gets better or not. Or is the difference in the years immaterial. I don’t need to know what you think of this particular brand so you can save that for your wine club. Thanks
The reason I’m asking is because I got a four pack of Ravenswood wine at Grocery Outlet (which is a place that sells close outs) All the Ravenswood at Safeway is 2007. But this that I got at the outlet is 2004,2005,2006. Its a variety pack.
The pour pack was 16.99 and it came in a decorative case thingy. So thats really only 4.25 a bottle. The normal price is at least twice that. Its a gift so I’m not gonna test it.
Great answers. Actually this store has a policy that if it’s not to your liking it can be returned, sounds like I might need to.
I have a friend’s birthday party coming up and I’d like to get her a bottle of wine that I know she would like. She is part of a wine club that recently sampled many different types of wine and I know she liked the 2nd one from the right, but I can’t for the life of me seem to find the name or maker of it online. Does anyone recognize this or have any ideas of what it may be called? Thanks!

I’m looking for a Wine of the Month type of deal so I can start expanding my selection of wine at the house. I just don’t know where to start when looking around in the stores so I thought I might see what there is out in the world of the internet.
Does anyone know of a good wine club?
Looking to get it for my parents as an anniversary gift, however, I am anything but a wine connoisseur and there seem to be a lot of wine club websites that are shady. They drink both red and white wines. What are some reputable clubs? What do I need to know when choosing the right club for them?
