We are organizing a club for a weekly wine tasting and board game night. We would like some ideas on a good name for the club, possibly a latin, greek, or Italian word/phrase.

I’m going to Martha’s Vineyard in a few weeks and I’ve tried googling winerys or wine tasting and nothing has really come up. I was wondering if anyone could tell me the name of one? Also, if you’ve been there before, should I take my car with me or leave it on the mainland? Thanks.
We are planning to go to Napa Valley in early April. are there any tours around the vineyards? we are not interested in wine tasting but would like to take photos of the vineyards.
I am wondering if there is a good winery around dayton or centerville areas. I would like to do some wine tasting, but I am having a hard time finding listings online. Even somewhere that also has beer tasting may be fun too. I only found one (Arrow Wine and Spirits) but there must be others I haven’t come across. Thanks.
I’d like to visit San Francisco for a few days then check out Muir Woods and continue into Napa Valley for a few days of wine tasting. When’s the best time to experience the sights with decent weather?
I have recently started having a glass of wine with dinner or right after dinner, and I definitely have a preference for sweet wines. The problem is being able to tell what is what at the wine store. One of the local vineyards here in New York has a scale on the back of their labels indicating the degree of dryness or sweetness, which I find very helpful. Unfortunately, they seem to be the exception and not the rule. It’s impractical for me to do a wine tasting and I don’t want to have to guess, spending money on a bottle only to get home and find that I don’t like the taste. I’m basically looking for sweet wines in the or less range. -And NO, I don’t want to drink wine coolers!
I’m trying to plan wine tasting and dinner in Napa Valley. Any places I should definitely go?
My boyfriend and I went wine tasting this weekend; it wasn’t one those tours where they show you around the vineyard. Basically you go up to the front counter and the girl behind the counter gave us 5 different types of wines to try and told us a bit about them.
When we walked out the door, my boyfriend and I looked at each other and were like "Were we supposed to tip her?"
This was our first time doing any sort of wine tasting.
Does anyone know the proper etiquette? We had a great time and plan on going again soon.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
This is my second date with her. My date lives 30 miles from me and we’ll meet 20 miles from her home. We both have jobs and I’m paying for the expenses (wine tasting and food). Should offer to reimburse her for gas to drive to and from our date? Or would this be too crass?
I’m especially interested in a woman’s point of view.
I just registered my RX350, my mom’s SC430 and my mil’s RX300 on the Lexus site- all I did was eneter some personal info and our VINs. They offer Lexus owners wine tasting and cheese pairing tours all over Napa Valley, and I several made reservations online.
Has anyone been to any of those tours..some of them are worth over 0 and it’s all complimentary. Just wondering before I get my hopes up, cause it sounds like fun. (I love wine, but I’m not an expert, just an enthusiast)
