Autodidacts:
Help me brainstorm!
Here’s a list of skills I want to develop:
-Playing musical instruments
-Fiction/Non-fiction writing
-Language Learning (Rosetta Stone…do you know of better software?)
-Sign language
-Public speaking
-Sculpting
-Painting and drawing
-Filmmaking
-Tapestry making (weaving)
-Sewing
-Cooking
-Acting
-Dancing
-Reading books (on all subjects offered at college. I’m at college, so this is already covered)
-Singing
-Chess
-Volunteer work: schools, senior centers, environment, homeless shelters, food banks.
-Making my own wine
-Farming
-Juggling
Preferably, I’d like a list of things I can do that involve being alone/downloading resources from the Internet. What other skills are good to have? The easier it is to teach myself with just internet access, the more I’ll like your response. But general skills are also welcome.

Two years ago my dad planted a wine vineyard in our backyard. this past september was the first year he was able to crush the grapes and make wine. he is soooo into this and is sooo proud of it. he has been taking classes at the community college and everything.
the other day i had 3 friends over and i asked my dad if we could go and smell the wine that was fermenting in the cellar. he said yes as long as we put the cork back in. i had never seen it so i was excited and stuff. well after we weredone looking at it i tried to put the cork back in and i couldnt do it. so i tried one last time and the cork pushed WAYYYY to far in. its next to impossible to get it out now but the bottle is still corked. i was scared to tell him about it but he found it today. he is FURRIOUS. idont know how to apologize.
i know i should have told him sooner but i was soo scared that hed freak out. i dont kno what i was thinking. hes in the kitchen rite now….what should i go and say to him????

Do you get better with age like good wine or do you begin to mold and stink like a piece of cheese?

I’ve never really liked the taste of wine. Not even when I was in Italy–the veritable mothership of smashed grape. I’m more of a beer person, for reasons unknown. But, I’d like to grow more accustomed to wine. Any suggestions for a good starter wine? (Not too expensive, could be a specific label, or generic variety, would all be useful).

A couple decides to renew their wedding vow and invites close family and friends to attend. The couple wants to have a small dinner afterward. Originally, the couple was going to host the dinner at their house. A small dinner where they would provide a baked ham and cake. Family and friends would bring a covered dish. Then a relative of the couple offers to host the reception/dinner afterward at her new house so everyone can see it. The couple and hostess then begin to ask all those attending to supply all the food and beverages for the reception. Asking one person to bring a tiered wedding cake. Asking others to bring at least 3 different dishes each and bottles of wine and Champagne. Just wondering the proper etiquette regarding this. Several of the family and friends are kind of put out with it. Thinking it rather odd the way it was handled.

A example of error that apears when I try to install something: "The file ‘/home/John/Downloads/Plants vs. Zombies Game of The Year Edition.exe’ is not marked as executable. If this was downloaded or copied from an untrusted source, it may be dangerous to run. For more details, read about the executable bit." What did I do wrong? Tell me the exact steps to install software in Ubuntu with wine.
