what’s the difference between a social drinker, a drunk, and an alcoholic? if a social drinker finds a bug in his drink he sends the drink back. if a drunk finds a bug in his drink, he pulls out the bug and finishes his drink. if an alcoholic finds a bug in his drink, he takes out the bug, wrings it dry, says"that’s mine." and drinks his drink.
Ew, ew, ew.
STILL DIRTY!
oh come on, what do you think?
Still Dirty man!!!!!!!!
It would not be Kosher.
Probably best not to drink it, however, if it is just 1 little fruit fly, you’d probably be fine.
Keep in mind, wine has alcohol in it, and even though it is ethanol instead of isopropyl (rubbing) alcohol, it is still alcohol, which has bacterial killing properties. That is why we use rubbing alcohol to sanitize things.
But - it is your call.
Most insects are relatively clean and the ones that carry disease have to sting or somehow transmit the disease into your bloodstream. I would never waste a glass of wine because a lttle fruitfly had a sip —- my friend has actually patented a device called the Wine Sentry which is a mesh cover for the top of wine glasses that allows the wine to breathe and safeguard it from insects— especially bees who will sting the inside of your mouth if you are unaware they are lurking in your wine glass !! PS— Even if you swallow an insect remember they are purley protein and cannot harm you — in fact survivalists often rely on insect protein to keep them alive.
kinda gross but it wont kill you. you should just but another bottle unless its a bottle from like 1890. if it was a bottle like that i would drink it depending how many fruit flys were in it haha..
Pour it out and get some fresh wine.
Knock it back
till be grand
Chad C has the best answer. I would just drink it fly and all. What does that make me? lol
it’s ok, just filter it through a coffee filter, it happens in bars in the tequila all the time
Strain it, drink it…salud.
As said above, strain it through a coffee filter.
Fruit flies love sweet vermouth, I worked at a restaurant where we’d have to strain the vermouth every time one of the idiot barbacks would leave the speed-pourer uncovered overnight.
Didn’t kill anyone…but still probably not up to health code… LoL
