Turning a closet into a wine cellar?
What is the best route to take in turning a closet into a wine cellar. I have a hall closet that will probably only hold about a 100 bottles or so when outfitted. Is there a small cooling unit to put in there? What would the best racking system be? Etc….. Thanks, Gantt

there are TONS of choices
if you want to actually keep your wine cool there are small air conditioning equipment designed to keep a small room/cabinet cool, but requires power and usually some sort of vent system for the warm air
it might be best to keep your wine in there and move it to a wine fridge to actually chill it before drinking… I keep about 4 bottles in my liquor fridge, and put the rest in my pantry which i have converted into a wine cellar
as for racking systems the sky is the limit, there are premade stackable units, grates and guides to make your own or ‘alternative choices’… I personally got a bunch of cardboard tubes, about 10" in diameter and about 1 foot deep, and stacked them, and put 2-3 bottles in each tube. works wonderfully, and can store about 100 bottles.
