We want to do wine making, crushing grapes with our feet. Where in Maryland or surrounding area can we do this?
We are from Maryland and I would love to make wine (crush grapes with my feet). Does anyone know where this can be done at a winery/vineyard anywhere on the East Coast? Thanks!

Wineries, at least the ones I have visited and am familiar with, no longer crush by "stomping" on the grapes. The crush is done by machine. My Mother and Uncles who helped my Grandfather make wine every year remember crushing once by stomping on the grapes. But that was in the 1930s, right after the repeal of Prohibition. (Mom is almost 90). My Mother and Uncles all said that it was a cold and painful experience (stems, seeds, etc.). After that one time, my Grandfather would rent a grape press for the crush each year.
there are many vinyards around maryland… you will need to contact them to find out if they offer this
you won’t likely be able to until the grapes are in season, if they are grown at the vinyard that would likely be late-summer or early fall, since its doubtful they would import whole grapes just to crush them themselves (cheaper to order juice or concentrate when offseason)
