What are some good gifts for a wine lover?
Personally, I'm not much of a wine drinker - at all. So I couldn't really say what wine lovers would be excited to receive as a gift. Any ideas? I'm open to all. And if you have any ideas where I could find wine-related products, that would be wonderful as well. Thanks.

A good wine store should have alot of things to choose from, but a good wine opener (with "wings") is always good … wine charms … a wine coaster (the bottle goes on it). If they collect wines, you can find journals or logs for them to enter in their inventory. You can buy special tops to put into opened wine bottles that remove the air from them, so the bottle can stay a few days after being opened (vaccuum seal them) …. boxes of wine crackers (they're water crackers or small biscuits). Put these things into a basket with a dishtowel with grapes or wine motif and maybe an oven mitt to match ……Girard's makes great salad dressings, and they have a champagne, chardonnay and pinot noir salad dressings; which you might be able to find at your grocery store…….
Wine rack, set unique wine glasses
I just got back from Napa / Sonoma and found this cool device. Here is the link to amazon, maybe it's cheaper somewhere else. It's called an Aerator and you just pour each glass through it and it opens up the taste by adding air to the wine and since it is kinda new hopefully they don't have one yet.

A nice decanter if they like reds. It's a nice way to show off the wine and aerate it at the same time. And they come in all sorts of shapes that are nice enough to be put on display even when they're not being used.
Wine, :).
Reidle (pronounced like needle) wine glasses would be used often and cherished by any wine aficionado.
The wine aerator is neat. My friend bused his out at a party and people like it. They probably already have glasses that they like.
You know, if the person is a wine lover, then I say get them WINE. It's what they love, right? Find out a brand & type of wine they drink, and then ask a wine expert at a store for a similar wine that's a little different. Wine drinkers tend to buy the same stuff over and over, so they're excited to try something new that tastes similar to a wine they like. If you want to do the simple thing, just get a $20 white wine from the refrigerated section of the grocery store. They only refrigerate the popular white wines, so you know you'll get a tasty one.
Another option is a flat-bottomed decanter. You can find them for $25. They aerate wine and are a fancy way of serving wine.
Don't buy stoppers, vacuvins, wine coolers, wine openers, wine pourers, glass identifiers, or any of that stuff. If the person likes wine, they probably already have plenty.
Nice wine glasses. Find out what their favorite wine is and buy glasses specifically for that type of wine. They make glasses for all types.
They have really cute wine glasses at pier one for like $3 a piece, they have a little chalk board on them so you know who's glass is who's. They also have foil cutters & wine glass charms that are always fun. You could even do a basket with some cheeses and crackers with a bottle of wine and a cute wine cork, etc. If you go to myownlabels.com you can make personalized wine labels to put on the bottles you bought at the store, just soak them in hot water for a few minutes and they come off great
good luck & happy holidays.
