What are your favorite stops on HWY 101 from Coose Bay to Napa Valley then over to Reno?
My husband and a large dog are organizing a road trip in a few weeks. We plan on getting to Coose Bay and driving down to Napa Valley to do wine tasting. Then we will go over to Reno (I never have been) then to Chico, up to Crater Lake, and finally home. What are your favorite stops along the way? For dogs or without dogs (he does really well on car rides)?

I would say After napa valley go to san francisco and walk go on the golden gate bridge(which is on hwy 101)
