Dear JR:
I’ve always preferred The Sebastiani Tour.
Go to their web site. The winery & tour is
in the center of town & fun to walk around.
It’s very well organized & informational.
Their wine is great quality & affordable.
The Tour is amazing! She will like it!
Beringer, Stags Leap & Mondavi is good too!
But there is really nothing around there.
Good Luck~
Have Fun!
If you are looking for a cave tour.. Check out Del Dotto… They have two different caves you can choose from. One is an older one that was dug hundreds of years ago located near the iSilerado Trail. They also have another cave that is located on 129 which is newer. I myself would recommend the older one on Silverado Trail It definately gives you a better idea of what wine caves look like.
Another cool tour to take is CakeBread or NIckel and Nickel they do a tour that shows you how they make their wines.
A really beutiful property to see is Castello di Amorosa. They have a magnificant castle to tour..
Hope that helps!
