What wines are the best to buy and give as a gift?
I wanted to buy my co-workers some nice bottles of wine for Christmas but I’m not a wine expert! I hardly ever drink at all, so I don’t know what brands are my best bet! What wines are the best to buy and give as a gift? Preferably wines that most people would find tasty and wouldn’t scream cheap!! Thanks in advance

Incognitio - Red. Rhone style blend. about 25. One of my absolute favs. Plus the bottle is great and looks excellent, even if they dont drink.
yellow tail merlot
agree with above.. barefoot merlot or any robert mondavi…of course a lot of people seem to like white wine for some reason.. great to cook with horrible to drink:)…good luck!
This link is a list of the best wines under $20 - written by a Sommelier and author of "Wine Buying Guide for Everyone" Andrea Robinson. I would go with a red for the holidays!

Really, any decent wine in the $10 to $15 range. Sorry to disagree with the Australian wine above, but Yellowtail is really cheap and I find it inconsistent from bottle to bottle. One can be great and the very next, you go, "what? Is this the same brand?"
I would suggest Bogle Vineyards, BV Vineyards, Bonterra or any Rodney Strong wine. White or red, they are good wineries that will please without breaking your wallet.
