What would be a good snack or nibble to go with Riesling wine?
It needs to be something that is portable because it’s for a wine club.

A nice light crisp cheese - or maybe even plain gouda, even though that would be a little sweet. Some Rye Bread rounds or the small loaf sliced of pumpernickel they sell by the deli at the supermarket.
cheese and crackers. I’d go with a Jarlsberg cheese
ritz crackers and cheeze whiz
A grain based cracker and an herb cheese, delicious!
Just about anything. Riesling is the only kind of wine I drink.
European Bread and Cheese
I would say cheese and crackers too! you can’t go wrong there.
Combination pizza
Philly cheese sandwich, xtra large
Potato salad
Polish sausage sandwich
Plate of spaghetti
We made chocolate covered strawberries to go with it and it was rather good!
If you are the one bringing the wine, may I suggest for this time of year, to go with a Viogner wine. It is a very lite approachable summer wine. It would great with fruits of all kinds. It’s not too sweet or dry. A great introduction of a wine that a lot of people aren’t familiar with.
Hmm…Riesling…excellent choice for a "leisure" wine. Try something that compliments the wine itself. Maybe Romano Cheese or even Asiago Cheese (although a lot of my friends would say Parmesano Originao would go better - Amateurs). A warm and filling yet healthy alternative will be a little antipasti like grilled eggplants/sweet peppers with light ham and olives. Inexpensive yet classy. Enjoy.
anything
