		<description>It is really none of these. Hospitality does not fit because Odysseus is in the Cyclop's cave. Irony is totally out of place here. Respect and Goodwill might be candidates but they are only faked,because neither Odysseus and his men feels one or the other for the Cyclops,they feel FEAR.
It is all a hoax to mislead the Cyclops,get him drunk so that they can beat him and get away.
So,I would say that the gift is an example of misuse of trust. In this case rightfully so.</description>
