Which country produces the best wine?
Dollar for dollar, which country do you think has the best value wine for the price. Think of the major producing areas like California, France, Spain, Italy, South Africa, Chile, Argentina, Australia, New Zealand, Germany etc.

According to recent blind taste tests, the US produces the best wines, specifically from the Napa Valley region of California (really, I’m not kidding). The French were so upset by this that they had the tests done several times and each time gave very similar results.
I love our Aussie wines, but we don’t share the good ones by sending them overseas.
You have to come here and try them sometime!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I can’t comment re white wine as I only drink red. In respect of red wine only, therefore, it has to be Australia without a shadow of a doubt…
Canada has excellent wines. You can choose them from coast to coast. BC has some great wineries. Summerhill, Missionhill, Grey Monk just to name a few. You should try one. An excellent reasonably priced French wine is 2005 Chamarre, about 10$ a bottle, fine wine stores only.
All the above. Each country has it’s own character and each region is individual. Wine is purely subjective and what one person may like can be entirely different from your taste.
