I’d go for the Merlot simply because it’s a lighter wine and that would go best with the light flavor of the turkey or ham.
As for label, I don’t think you could go far wrong with Trentadue, Beauleau, De Louche is really good and they’re all within your price range.
Think about a good white wine like a chardonnay or pinot grigio.
cabernet sauvignon & Merlot
I would go for a pinot noir. Its an elegant red that will not over-power ham or turkey. Try Calera, David Bruce, or Acacia. Be aware that the prices of the wines may vary with the year of the vintage.
Cabernet sauvignon and zinfandel will overpower, and merlot
can lack structure.
