Windows software on ubuntu 9.10 using wine-I have problems!!!?
Not all of the windows software runs on my ubuntu. I installed adobe shockwave player and i went to a shockwave site and it tells me to install the plugins. Nothing loads up. Can someone help me?!

You can probably achieve your objective by installing the linux version of the adobe shockwave player. Wine is a useful tool, but it doesn’t run everything.
Your other alternative is to install Windows in a Virtual Machine within Ubuntu. I downloaded Virtual Box from Sun and installed Windows XP to run the programs that Wine won’t run.
