Wine Compliance Business?
I’m Starting my own small company for Wine and Spirit Compliance.
I can offer services so that Wineries can concentrate on marketing and sales.
This is my business the past 10 years ( Compliance ) and I have 17 years experience in the Wine and Spirit Industry.
I have one client so far but feel stuck.
What is my next move

Hey John,
Have you marketed your new service? If you have the Mona Lisa hanging in your house, nobody would know about it unless you advertise. So tell people about your new wine compliance business! Try ad in the paper, Google Adwords, and put up a website!

How about assembling a "compliance pack" that can be sent to a winery or distiller for a set fee, like $250. Then you can offer such service without an actual contract with anyone. Also, you can differentiate your more complete services from the basic package and subsequently, make yourself seem more valuable or your fees more justified.
Send a "sample compliance package" informational mailer to as many small wineries as you can.
I may be wrong, but I would think most wineries already in operation would have to be in compliance with BATF rules in order to get bonded in the first place.
