Pinot noir is the hot thing here right now. It’s pretty hard to find a white at all if you go to a tasting room. Sullivan specializes in reds and they’re a very snooty winery with excellent reviews. Cakebread also gets very good reviews from Wine Spectator, and has for years.
If you can find a WS from the past 3 months or so, any month, the Napa pinot noirs are just raging in the pages. You have so many choices.
